Marine Fenders International’s Ocean Guard Netless foam-filled fenders were selected as the primary fendering system for the Hoonah Cruise Terminal at Icy Strait Point, Hoonah, AK.

A unique design feature consists of a floating steel-pipe pontoon system where the Ocean Guard fenders are installed.

The dock is designed to accommodate 4,000-passenger cruise ship vessels in excess of 1,000ft in length with a nominal sail area of 143,000ft², imparting berthing energy of 535,000 ft-lb.
