IHC Winches designs and develops hydraulic winches, electric winches and hose reels for all conceivable applications in the offshore, shipbuilding, dredging and heavy lifting industries.
Being part of IHC Motion Control, we are not only able to offer you our own offshore winches but can also provide you with a complete offshore winch system, including riser pull-in winches, auxiliary winches, sheave trolleys, hoist winches, A&R winches, hydraulic power units (HPUs) and electrical control units.
Our organisation is made up of over 100 experienced professionals and has the capacity to deliver every type of complete, large-scale offshore winch system, as well as providing you with serial production of compact offshore winches and winch systems. IHC Winches, part of IHC Merwede, has officially presented its 50t fibre rope traction winch, known as IDsis, to the Dutch and Belgian offshore markets. The presentation on 20 March was attended by a large group of lifting specialists, who responded enthusiastically to the prototype and the results of its initial tests.
