Proserv Offshore is pleased to announce that it has expanded its offshore well engineering with the acquisition of Twin Hills Wireline Services.

According to Chuck Purdy, manager of Proserv Offshore Well Engineering, the acquisition gives Proserv Offshore the capability of performing complete wireline intervention operations.

“This continues our growth strategy for the Gulf of Mexico, and we are excited about how this acquisition expands our widely respected service line. Operators needing well maintenance to improve production now have access to our high level of planning and project execution experience,” said Purdy.

Twin Hills Wireline Services originated in 1993 in Erath, Louisiana (US), and will continue to operate there. Founder Tim Hill, who has 32 years of oilfield experience, will remain with Proserv Offshore to assist clients with their intervention and maintenance needs. Chuck Purdy, with 23 years experience, will oversee the new operation as part of Proserv Offshore’s Well Engineering business unit.

Proserv Offshore leads globally in removing damaged and mature offshore structures and wells for major, independent and national oil companies.
