Wakefield Acoustics has been accredited to ISO9001 Quality Management System standards for many years, and the company is now delighted to announce its recent additional accreditation to BS OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO14001: 2015 standards.

The award comes as part of the continued development of the company’s integrated QHSE management system.

OHSAS 18001 is the internationally recognized assessment standard and specification for occupational health and safety management systems which was developed by the leading trade and international standards and certification bodies.

The IS014001: 2007 standard sets out the criteria for an environmental management system and is recognized worldwide.

Wakefield Acoustics’ managing director Lee Nicholson said of the achievement: "The operation of robust Quality, Health andSafety and the Environment systems has been central to our business for many years.
