As part of a strategic initiative to expand market penetration and facilitate greater collaboration between business divisions, Optical Metrology Services (OMS) has announced a rebrand of its high-precision manufacturing subsidiary Thebus Engineering.

Part of the OMS business since 2005, Thebus manufactures a comprehensive portfolio of components integral to OMS’ portfolio of precision measurement tools. From July 2016, the business will be branded OMS Engineering.

Going forward, the two divisions will work in close collaboration, developing innovative solutions for companies operating across the global oil and gas, nuclear, aerospace and manufacturing industries, amongst others.

Commenting on the rebrand, OMS CEO Denise Smiles commented: "As a world-leader in precision measurement solutions, OMS prides itself on delivering innovative technologies for the world’s leading organisations.
