West Special Fasteners quality management system has been approved by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) on the 1st June 2010.

“We have followed a good management system since our company was established in 1999 but this formal recognition and approval to ISO 9001:2008 by LRQA will allow our company to grow and demonstrate to our customers our commitment to providing quality fasteners.

The system has only taken nine months to prepare, during 11 years of trading, to gain ISO 9001:2008. It has been an interesting journey and West Special Fasteners will be continually looking to improve systems and procedures to the benefit of all our customers, suppliers and employees,” said James Hawkins, commercial director.

Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance Limited auditor commented on the high standards of West Special Fasteners computerised and physical stock control systems for raw material saying that a new benchmark has been set by West Special Fasteners for others to follow.
