The blower was originally re-built and commissioned by Kemostal back in 2013. After seven years in the field, the customer took the decision to perform an overhaul in order to repair and restore the reliability of the machine.
A typical overhaul for such machine consists of replacing all five bearings and mechanical seals as well as all elastomers and other wear parts.
Prior to the re-assembly, all parts were painted with a NORSOK M-501 coating system with the topcoat being manually applied due to urgency getting the machine back in operation.
The blower was then installed and commissioned by Kemostal service engineers Niklas and Cesar.
