The new PUNTO Hi-PoE from Videotec is a cost-effective housing that provides high-reliability and the flexibility of the network system, as well as simplifies installation operations with important cost reduction.
This housing can easily house a PoE camera and use the power provided by the ethernet cable as the sole source to power the network camera, along with heating and demisting system.
It is compliant to PoE and PoE+/Hi-PoE standards (IEEE802.3af or IEEE 802.3at). The internal power supply can feed a variety of PoE cameras (Class 0-1-2-3). The power consumption is configurable via dip-switch according to the PoE or Hi-PoE standards depending to the system requirements.
Simplified installation using preformed cables with RJ45 connectors is achieved, thanks to the special cable gland. The side opening system allows the full and easy access to the camera, lenses and all internal connections.
Entirely made of robust technopolymer, its weatherproof rating IP66/IP67 offers a total protection in outdoor installations, with temperature ranging from -20°C (-4°F) to 60°C (140°F). The front is designed to offer protection from UV rays and atmospheric agents. The housing proposes various mounting options for any installation need, wall or ceiling brackets, feedthrough and non-feedthrough.
