Skelmersdale-based engineering solutions provider Trelleborg Offshore is set to be recognised with a Gold at the prestigious Health and Safety Awards, which are due to be held by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) next month.
The industry awards scheme is the longest of its kind in the UK in recognition of its practices and achievements in safe working practices.
Trelleborg Offshore HSEQ manager Jayne Wood said: “We are proud to win a RoSPA Gold Award as it truly recognises our commitment to the health, safety, and wellbeing of our employees and customers.
“It is a great achievement that acknowledges our dedication to safe working practices.

RoSPA head of qualifications, awards and events Julia Small noted: “The RoSPA Awards are the most highly respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year.

The company looks forward to being presented the award during a ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Thursday, 5 July 2018.
The RoSPA Awards, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
