Following an interim audit in July 2011, AVEC is pleased to announce that in the opinion of the independent auditors DQS GmBH (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen), the company continues to implement and maintain its systems and procedures which are in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 standards.
"We have spent considerable effort in developing, using and maintaining our company systems and it is very gratifying to see that this effort meets, in all respects, the requirements for ISO 9001:2008 certification " said Marion Hughes, MD of AVEC. "By having these systems and procedures in place, our clients can be assured of the best quality of service. Thanks must go to Chris Saxby, our QA/QC manager, for all his work and effort in ensuring our continued certification."
The ISO 9001:2008 DQS certification is valid from June 2010 until June 2013, with yearly interim audits being required to ensure that the systems are being developed and implemented correctly.
