With a holding force of 450kg, MAM-003 can be used to fasten heavy devices, such as oil booms or diving equipment to steel structures and ship sides.
All Miko magnets are shipped in a double-skin steel box to isolate the magnetic field and to prepare them for air freight.
The magnetic component consists of neodymium which is coated with epoxy to improve its corrosion resistance in seawater. The magnet is equipped with a mooring lug and breaking lever for easy release and safe operation.
The bottom is fitted with a rubber filling for increased friction and improved usability.
MAM-003 is also available in a watertight plastic case with in-built magnetic shielding.
It has a holding force of 450kg, a footprint of 155 x 115mm, a net weight of 4kg, and gross weight (including the box) of 7kg.
