rosen eprgSwitzerland-based pipeline integrity specialist ROSEN Group is pleased to announce it became the first service organisation to join the European Pipeline Research Group (EPRG) earlier this year.

ROSEN is now actively engaged in the work of the EPRG, reflecting the company’s commitment to the safe operation of gas transmission pipelines.

ROSEN has contributed experienced technical representatives to the Design, Corrosion and Materials committees of EPRG to support the work of those teams.

The EPRG design committee recently met at the ROSEN Innovation Center in Lingen, Germany, where in addition to committee business, the representatives had the opportunity to tour the facilities.

ROSEN EPRG plenary committee representative Erik Cornelissen said: “We have joined EPRG because we are 100% committed to the primary goal of the group, which is to work collaboratively to constantly improve the integrity of gas transmission pipelines.

“We believe that what is good for the industry is good for us, and it is right that we commit our time and resources to this endeavour.”

Joining the EPRG fills a gap as ROSEN is also a member of the Australian Pipeline and Gas Association (APGA), as well as the Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI).

This makes ROSEN the only company to be an active member of all three leading industry research bodies.

Several representatives of ROSEN attended the recent 21st PRCI-APGA-EPRG Joint Technical Meeting in Colorado Springs to present detailed technical work on behalf of EPRG and contribute to discussions on the future of the pipeline industry.
