Asian Offshore Services (AOS) has recently been awarded the design and build of another ‘fast-track’ E-house project by Chevron Thailand as part of their Gulf of Thailand Platong CPP platform instrument and electrical systems upgrade project.

The project is a double-storey structure comprising a ground-floor MCC building and control room on the upper level, and will be tied into existing offshore building structures on the platform.

The modules, to be designed and built in Malaysia, are another success story for AOS following the design and manufacture of a similar project delivered to Chevron Thailand for their Benchamas Wellhead Platform ‘C’ in 2009.

AOS continues to develop into a regional leader for manufacturing bespoke E-houses, following previous successful projects for BG India, Petronas Carigali and GPS.

Manager director Faisal Siebel commented: “AOS continues to support regional requirements for bespoke E-houses in both brown and green field projects and have become a regional market-leader and specialist in designing and building both modular and single-lift E-houses.

“This comes in support of our previous and growing regional success in designing and building modular Living Quarters and equipment rooms for a number of regional operators including Brunei Shell, Petronas Carigali, Nippon Oil Malaysia, Pearl Energy Thailand, Sabah Shell Petroleum, DOF Subsea Australia and MOMPL.”

AOS continues to grow as a privately owned company by expanding its oil and gas and marine support businesses throughout the region, and now supports the design and construction of modular E-houses, living quarters and general-purpose modules by supplying all the associated architectural materials such as fire doors, wall panels, ceilings and associated living quarters furniture.

In support of supplying these architectural materials, AOS is also providing offshore and marine support services that include design engineering and fit-out of architectural systems for new and existing living quarters, E-houses and offshore general-purpose equipment rooms.
