For many years GLYNWED has worked actively with developing and producing different ceramic solutions for customers within the offshore and subsea market. In this market we deal with extreme applications, which put great demands on the components. This often results in an advanced component where the ceramic is joined with steel or other highly alloyed materials, such as through soldering or shrinking in.

GLYNWED often participates in an early stage in our customer’s development projects in order to adjust the product to a suitable ceramic solution in their systems.

In order to present these products for this market segment in a better way, GLYNWED has printed a new brochure “FRIALIT®-DEGUSSIT® Ceramics – Components for Offshore & Subsea.” The brochure is divided into three parts and focuses on ceramic components for mechanical applications, ceramic feedthroughs and insulators, and ceramic sensor components. On the last opening of the brochure there is a very handy table of material data for GLYNWED’s ceramic materials.

The production takes place in modern production facilities using technology in accordance with ISO 9001.

The components are produced by the sister company FRIATEC AG in Mannheim, which has more than 60 years experience of producing technical ceramics. The products are sold and marketed in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland by GLYNWED AB.
