Semco Maritime is a company with 1,500 employees in our departments in Denmark (head office), Europe, Asia, Middle East, USA and Central America.

ENGINEERING AND CONTRACTING

We are one large integrated company and our combined operations make us one of the major contractors and engineering companies within the following market sectors:

• Floating and mobile units
• Fixed oil and gas installations
• Infrastructure (power plants, airport projects)

We have a wide range of disciplines under the same roof i.a.: design of steel structures and piping, electrical and instrumentation systems and communication and automation. In addition to these engineering disciplines, Semco Maritime has the following competences and capabilities.

FABRICATION

Semco Maritime can operate from well equipped facilities at the port of Esbjerg with direct access to the quayside with a load-out capacity for modules of up to 1,700t.

Semco Maritime´s in-house fabrication department ensures that we are able to optimise resources and skills during construction of offshore modules, unit skids, etc. We not only fabricate new equipment, we also modify and repair existing equipment in both carbon and stainless steel constructions.

In our facilities in Denmark we build among others:

• Risers

SERVICE – HIGH FLEXIBILITY

Thanks to our highly trained staff and state-of-the-art technology, Semco Maritime has achieved a leading status within service and maintenance. High flexibility in terms of both personnel and equipment enables Semco Maritime to carry out any servicing task. All tests and calibration performed by Semco Maritime are documented in a certificate and/or a service test report.

INSTALLATION – CUSTOMER NEEDS

Our organisation adapts to the requirements of individual projects, thus meeting customer needs. Our involvement varies from small specialist installation teams for specific tasks to hiring of large work forces for major reconstruction work on drilling rigs, production platforms or power plants. Semco Maritime always provides our own operation team to oversee the completion of all projects. Continuous maintenance on oil and gas production platforms is also a key responsibility of our professional employees.

MANPOWER DEPARTMENTS – OFFSHORE DENMARK AND NORWAY

Our manpower division has now become even bigger; consequently we can now supply additional qualified offshore personnel within our total range of activities. The group’s capacity ensures that large manpower teams – covering a wide range of disciplines - can be mobilised at a very short notice.

For more than 25 years, Semco Maritime has supplied the offshore and other industries with explosion-proof installations and maintenance materials. Personal contact is one of the key strengths of the component sales and logistics department. We can arrange shipment by road, air or sea to any destination in the world.
